Too Much Glue
August’s second feature is here with Too Much Glue by Jason Lefebvre and Zac Retz.
How fun is this cover?! It screams joy, chaos, and FUN! When I heard about this picture book, I knew this would be one that teachers would want and rave about. Whether you have young children or teach them, you understand the need for glue “rules” but also wanting to let your kiddos stay creative. This book will keep your children/students entertained, while also teaching them the importance of making “raindrops and not puddles.” ;)
Matty loves to use glue, especially with his dad at home. While at school, his art teacher warns him not to use too much glue because it will never dry. But Matty can’t resist and glue spills onto his desk. Things continue to escalate and Matty is now officially STUCK! How will he get out? What will his dad think when he shows up at school?
