Acorn Was a Little Wild
The first feature of September is here with Acorn Was a Little Wild by Jen Arena (Author), Jessica Gibson (Illustrator).
Fall is my favorite season and I’m constantly looking for new fun, fall read alouds! This story is the perfect balance between humor and a lovely message about growth, evolving, and a few plant facts! The illustrations are adorable and the story is full of adventure! This book is one the whole family/classroom will love!
Acorn seeks adventure and jumps first from his oak tree to take on the new experiences of the world. He rolls through new and fun adventures until Squirrel picks him up and buries him deep underground. And now, the adventure loving acorn is stuck in a small dark place. But maybe if he changes from the inside out, a new adventure will begin!
